The Netball Taranaki Major Award nominations are now open.

This year there have been changes to some of the award criteria to reflect the contribution that our Clubs and Schools make to our sport and to recognise special people from their organisations.

The Coach of the Year and Manager of the Year is now available for any Coach or Manager of a registered team to be nominated; although this is no longer specifically for Taranaki Representative Coaches and Managers, they are still eligible for nomination if they meet the criteria.

The Mary Gyde Trophy – Most Improved Umpire award is also available for clubs and schools to nominate their umpires that meet the criteria. Other umpire awards are by minimum accreditation requirements and are nominated by the Centre Umpire Development Group.

Netball Taranaki has included a new Player of the Year category and nominations will be accepted for any registered player from a Club or School that meets the criteria.

Nominations are open until September 28th.
