Netball New Zealand
Netball New Zealand is the national body responsible for the overall administration and development of our sport and has the responsibility for leading the development of the sport throughout New Zealand. Netball has a proud traditio nof widespread participation and sporting excellence from grassroots through to the Silver Ferns. Netball caters to over 135,000 registered members and a further 80,000 people playing in social competitions for over 1,000 clubs in 92 centres nationwide.
Netball New Zealand's work takes place in three key units:
- High Performance
- Game Development
- Marketing, Finance and Administration
The Netball New Zealand Board is made up of four Appointed and three Elected members as well as the Chief Executive. Six advisory groups report to the Board: Administration, High Performance, Media & Communications, Marketing, Operations, Netball Development.
Netball New Zealand's Mission is to lead the sustainable growth of netball and its people with a vision to be New Zealand's leading sport by 2020.
