Our Satellite Cup program kicked off on 30th October in Hāwera, New Plymouth, Stratford and Inglewood.  This is a 6 week program designed for Yr 6 - Yr 13 with an opportunity for players to develop and extend their skills and develop them, while encouraging team culture, hauora, and player engagement.

Our Satellite Cup Game Day will be on Sunday 10th December.

We have had some really fun dress-up days this term with our futureFERNS years 1-2.

Thank-you to our New Plymouth sponsor Subway in the Valley Mega Centre who has been providing us with ‘Player of the Day’ certificates with free sub vouchers each week to hand out to the tamariki.

Our next dress up day will be our Christmas Party on 13th December.

Our development team have really enjoyed getting out to our local schools this term to encourage the love of netball, furthering their skills and developing our coaches.

The team have delivered more than 20 sessions across different schools around the mountain, including groups of year 1's up to year 10's.  Thank-you to all of the schools for making us feel so welcome.

Our Spring League for 2023 has been very popular with 16 teams playing in Stratford every Monday and 18 teams playing in New Plymouth on a Tuesday evening.

This is a social 10-week program which is a great opportunity for players to get back into netball, keep fit or develop their skills before the winter season.

Interested in playing? Keep an eye out for information on our Summer League for next year which we will post on our website and advertise on our Facebook page soon.

Congratulations to Sandy Phear for winning Volunteer of the Year at the recent Taranaki Sports Awards 2023.
