Wow it has been a busy and fulfilling month in the world of Taranaki Netball with the season drawing to a close.
At the beginning of July we hosted the Enviro NZ North Island Junior Champs, our biggest event of the year with 75 teams registered. This was a huge success for Taranaki and despite the rain we had lots of positive feedback from the teams and many people involved. Thank-you so much to all of the umpires, managers, players, sponsors and support staff who helped make it such a great event.
This was followed by the Bayleys Premier Netball League semi-finals then the grand final last weekend. What a fantastic day for the grand final with our top teams battling hard for the top spots. Our last events of the season will be the Taranaki Champs on Saturday 19th August in Stratford and our Satellite Closing Day on Sunday 20th August at Waiwakaiho.
